Kyogle Show

Rural Youth

Kyogle Rural Youth is a local rural organisation. Our group meets every second Friday of the month for a meeting, followed by an activity such as card making, leatherwork,public speaking skills, debating, cooking, the list goes on. Rural youth has children as young as 5 and as experienced as 25. We are one of very few Rural Youth organisations left. We encourage anyone of any background to come along and join us at 7:00pm once a month.


In the Cattle Schedule we run 3 separate sections; British, Bos Indicus and European.As well as interbreed classes. Please note our Property Identification Code (PIC) is NG121585.


Pavilion sections range from farm produce, vegetables and fruit, fine arts, honey, eggs, horticulture, cooking, youth sections, needle work and handicraft, school sections and photography. All pavilions are open for viewing on Friday and Saturday of the show.

Night Entertainment

Entertainment for the whole family and all ages. Demolition derby, Fireworks and for the first time in Kyogle we have a Monster Truck Display!

Timber Sports

The Wood Chop arena hosts various classes, and runs throughout the day.  We have fence post ripping on Saturday in the KB O'Reilly arena.


Events in the Horse Schedule range from campdraft, stock horse patters, sporting events, as well as led thoroughbreds, ANSA, Australian Stock Horses; ridden ANSA Galloway, pony hacks, saddle ponies, APSB ponies, rider classes, hacks, palominos, miniature horses and ponies, purebred and part bred APSB ponies, heavy horses and more.


Kyogle Show offers 4 Showgirl sections. Miss Tiny Tot, Miss Junior, Miss Teen and Miss Showgirl. Judging is held on Saturday at 11am and winners will be announced at the Grand Parade.


The Poultry section of the show offers a vast range of both male and female classes. Some include; soft feather, hard feather and water fowls.

All Breeds Championship Dog Show

Kyogle District Kennel Club in conjunction with the Show Society will host four all breeds championship shows. Dogs of every breed will strut their stuff before a panel of international judges from Japan, South Africa and New Zealand. Many exhibitors travel great distances from interstate. Come and see your favourite breeds and see who wins.
